Staff Student Solidarity Rally

 

On 10th July, after an overwhelming majority of UCU members voted in support of strike action, students joined staff at picket lines and held a rally at Guy's campus, with students, staff, UCU members and other supporters speaking. 

 

It was a great success, (despite the rain!) - management were forced into cancelling the Princess Anne visit, there was great enthusiasm and energy, and mid-way through the day we hit 5000 signatures on our petition!
